With no board and only 8 checkers in the zone white doesn't present much of a threat so slotting the 5 point seems sound. The six point is bloated, and white will have to give up her anchor to hit. I'm not sure that it's best, but I'll try it.

For the 5, the choice seems to be running out or putting a second spare on the 8. (11/5? no, without the third builder the slot is not as strong, and the six remains stacked) I think like another checker in the zone, but running may be better. For one thing, running means we are not split and slotted. But I'll stick with bringing one down.
