After 8/4*(2), there are several ways of playing the last two 4's.

I don't like 5/1*(2) because it overextends Blue's position. This attack will mostly likely fail and White has a strong forward position. 13/9(2) is much more positional and brings down more attacking material while creating a broken five-prime if Blue manages to anchor on the 22 point. However, the price is leaving a blot on the mid-point exposed to 5 numbers and the danger that the checkers on the 20 point will be isolated. Therefore, I would make the most balanced play, 8/4*(2), 20/16(2).
