Containment problem

I think the best play is either 4/3, slotting the three point or 8/7 creating more builders for that point. Getting hit is far from fatal as it gives me another checker to play with in the containment process. The fact that getting gammoned is meaningless further suggests this must be the right plan. Since 8/7 leaves eight shots anyway, I prefer 4/3. By keeping the 8 point, White can only hit and escape to the outer board with 43 and 63.
Regarding moving the back checkers, Tim has already pointed out the better choice. 20/19 gives me five more hitting numbers: (besides any 1) 65, 66, 44, and 33 if White enters with 61 while 18/17 gives only three more: 64 and 55. It's eight hitting numbers with either play if White enters with 63.
My ranking of the plays: 1. 4/3 2. 8/7 3. 20/19 4. 18/17
