Some explanation about match lenghts decreasement in Cyprus Tournament?

I was following the tournament in cyprus who ended today, http://www.ftbgsystem.com/t/591 and was surprised why first rounds were to 11 points, then to 9 points, and final rounds to 7 points. I find logic advanced rounds should be played in longer match, and if it is swiss or more swiss tournament like this one, minimum every round at same lenght, but not decreasing match lenght. Maybe i missunderstood something, but i can not find any logic explanation to this.
