Some explanation about match lenghts decreasement in Cyprus Tournament?

it s true, they played 3 matchs friday : 11 points, 5 rounds saturday 3 in 9 points and 2 in 7 points and 4 rounds sunday in 7 points.

i don t understand this since the tournament was over at 5 pm, so plenty of time to play longer match.

the most unreal for me is the clock setting : 11 points 20 min and 12 seconds for each player 9 poins : 15 min and 12 seconds each 7 points : 10 min and 12 seconds each

and the last chance in 5 points : 5 min and 12 seconds.

what s the point to play a final for 30000 euros in such a crazy time control and for only 7 points???

mayber better flip a coin....
