Advice on where to play

Well, Jake...the first major awakening came in our old Fibs chouette when, about 25 years ago or so, Dougie exposed PB for using JF and that put a major damper on our action there. At $25 a point on line back then, that was quite a blow to find out a guy was using a bot. That combined with the idiot from Alaska who stiffed us.
Shortly after that Steve Mellen came over to my place and showed me, on my computer, how quickly he could enter positions and do an analysis on Snowie while a game was going on with my second computer. So I saw how fast and easy it was to cheat.
So I went to only playing chouettes on line with friends and people I knew, and I organized them and took care of payment. One of my "friends" was Hank Youngerman, Red Top, and not too long after that Paul Weaver and I, together, gathered a strong case against him for cheating and though he didn't take us for a lot of money, it did piss me off that every time I bet him on a play he won. Every single time. And of course, this was always on line, and live he didn't know shit about the game.
Of course the final blow was when it became illegal to play on line if you live in the U.S., and as you know, except possibly for murder, I would never do anything illegal.
