In Response To: Three-by-Five Retro-problem (pair) (Nack Ballard)

Again, great fun. A plethora of almost solutions, off by 1 pip, or solutions reachable if you could just play 2 or 3 of a double, or play 11: 13/12/11(2) disregarding the men on opponents mid point. And yet the solution finally seemed so easy - I am sure I have had it on the board and failed to see it at least once during my investigations.

Also, the way to the solution could be reached mainly by reasoning (after straightening out my way of thinking about it ...)
