This is a relatively good 87 pips for White, right? I mean, give blue a 31 played by stacking on the 8, and white a 31 played as he likes, and the pass becomes a lot bigger, right?! Or move the spare from the 6 to the 8, and the checker from the 9 and 11 to the 8 and 10 respectively, then you'd also have a much bigger pass. In that sense, the Blue spares position may be suboptimal.
