The choice seems to be between
1) blitzing with 15/9* 10/4(2) and then a final six TBD
2) priming with 10/4(2) 8/2(2)
3) escaping with tempo with 22/16(2) 15/9* and then a six TBDThe prime seems weakest - it's not even a full prime and all white has to do is shake a six and she's in great shape.
Sixes don't grow on trees, so my first inclination is to escape. OTOH, after hitting the blot on the nine, blitzing is thematic and escaping is down on the list of priorities in a blitz. The hybrid 22/16 15/9* 10/4(2) escapes one and makes a nice attack with a solid four prime and 11 checkers in the zone, so it's worth a look.
After a bit more thought, my opinion is that hitting is mandatory. Then I can't resist making the four point so that she's on the roof against a four point board. For the fourth six:
a) escape a checker
b) bring down a builder with 16/10
c) slot the bar point
d) play to the three pointBuilding is more thematic than escaping, so a) is out. Slotting gives six return shots, and I'm too timid with her board as strong as it is. 9/3 seems to place a checker too far forward, so I'll go with 16/10.
16/10 15/9* 10/4(2)
