At least on the topic of the luck, that is effectively EMG luck that doesn't account for the cube or the score. If you tell XG to display as "cost" you'd probably see that he was now unluckier. I have won a match with -11 luck and it wasn't against a total novice. The -11 EMG luck was deceptive because of where my luck occurred.
