How should this XG output be interpreted?

In the column Equity (cost) in the session summary, I squandered a lot less equity than my opponent in a 17 point match. Yet, XG claims that my Luck (cost) was 50% (I won the match) and that we were 50/50 to win according to the luck based rating column. How should this be interpreted?

I assumed that the Equity (cost) figure showed how much we each gave away in MWC and that therefore, I would need less than 50 % luck to win.
