Safe Harbor Games

Tried SHG for a match over the weekend. I find the SHG set up confusing and unsatisfying to the newbie. At this point will probably just wait for GG to come back on-line.

For a long time grid gammon user (was one of the first 50 or so users). Was actually on the site when Ken Arnold gave Marvin (the creator of FIBS) a tour very early on. I have played on several other bg sites over the last 20 years (FIBS, TMG, BG Room and even yahoo). IMHO, Find SHG to be probably the most convoluted setup of them all.

GG interface could be tweaked with additional features I am sure but still is very fast even with essentially a state of 1996 interface. Whatever GG does it should not sacrifice the speed of play that is its best feature.
