Someone else mentioned point #1 to me (Blue has two checkers back so even if he escapes one, he's not automatically home free. ) and I told them I didn't think that mattered. Blue, if he escapes one of his two back checkers, has so much timing left in his two spares that White will almost surely crunch down to a worthless prime before that remaining checker would ever be in danger of being primed.
