In this position-type where the opps have one man to hop, and we are bringing a builder into 17-1 shot range the first thing to think about is to stay as far back as possible. Now if they hop 52 we get an ace shot.

But if we step one space closer they hop over us with 62 and we don't get an ace shot.

52 hits one play 62 hits the other so that breaks even.
