In Response To: Responding to Tenland (Timothy Chow)

I agree with Paul, Bob, and Tim -- one timezone (and calendar) for all.

Now here's a little puzzle.

Bob is speaking from Oregon by telephone with his friend Charlie in Florida. During their conversation, Bob asks, "What time is it where you are?"

Charlie answers him, and Bob says: "That's amazing. It's exactly the same time here!"

How can that be?
