Is the focus a little soft?

I noticed the camera did refocus using its autofocus mechanism. The result was the same slightly soft image. Autofocus seems to be failing.

I grabbed a frame using Print Screen, and then zoomed in and scanned the image to find what parts were in focus. No part of the frame was in focus. Perhaps the focus is set slightly below the surface of the board.

Using manual focus or a smaller aperture (i.e., a larger f-stop number, which gives a larger depth of field) would probably help. As noted before, I am not sure whether you cam has either of these features. Another possibility is that the lens is not capable of producing sharp images, but that is unlikely.

The games are still enjoyable, so if you can't do anything, there is no worry.
