Avg number of games in an X point match? asymptotic limit?

If the limit of matchlength goes to infinity, can X be determined from the average points per money game? I.e. let A = average points per money game. Then

limit (X--> infinity) = 2/A. (Factor of 2 because both players score)

I've seen A estimated in the 2.8 to 3.0 range. I think those values were determined by bot vs. bot play (Jellyfish?). Anyone know of more recent values for this?
