Golf match play round robin whining warning - OT

For you golf fans the world match play championships this year is using a three day round robin in groups of four players. The winner of each round robin group of four advances to the sweet sixteen single elimination over the weekend. The problem is that they will end up with a number of groups that have meaningless matches tomorrow. Some groups will have two 0-2 players playing each other while two 2-0 players are playing to advance. There are other variations where one 2-0 player will be guaranteed to advance after today and both Friday Matches will be meaningless for that group of four players. These guys may be good but they also don't like to continue when they have little or no incentive (sort of like some BG players forfeiting out of the last chance).

You are best to avoid the golf channel and all the whining......
