This smells like one of those positions where running is the only viable play, and anything else is a huge blunder. Blue must start thinking about getting off the gammon, and must take risks to do it, with the cube at two and the opponent at 4 away.

I'm terrible at recognizing these situations. Hope I got this one right! Thanks for posting it, Tim.
