The least appealing play to me is 8/4. We strongly want to make the 5-point, moderately want to make the 7-point, and with opp on our 3-point the 9-point is also valuable. 8/4 takes a builder for the two most desirable points and wastes it, making it very difficult to accomplish those goals.
6/2 puts a checker where we don't really want it and takes a builder off the 6-point. That's still better (IMO) than 8/4 but it's far from ideal....
11/7 has pluses going for it -- starts a point we want and remains a builder for the 5-point (and even the 3-point). Big downside are the extra shots (12 vs. 4) and the possibilities of the partial escape+tempo hits (yes, already counted as shots) like 4-1, 4-2, 4-3, 4-6.
I voted for 6/2 but with three checkers back maybe we can't afford to waste that builder, and when things work (and we want to attack, for example) we have that dangling blot to cover, on a less-than-ideal location.
Changing my vote in order of preference:
1) 11/7
2) 6/2
3) 8/4
