I count 17 immediate shot leavers, and those are all double shots. Thus White will hit next roll more than 25% of the time (closer to 30%, I think) and there are later shots when Blue just treads water (i.e. doesn't blot but doesn't clear the 6-point).

A good RoT is: if all your wins are simple and all your losses are gammons you need to win half the time, cubeful. Here not all of White's losses are gammons, but a majority are.

It seems the drop/take decision is close, but I'm going with 'Take'. Also, I'm guessing a 1970's era book is going to say "No Double".

BTW, I didn't discuss Jacoby but given that it seldom enters these decisions, I doubt it does here. Suppose Blue owned the cube. Same action, IMO.
