I'm not good at lifting plays -- they so seldom seem right that I just reject them. So scratch 3/2 from my candidates.

8/7 now looks like the obvious ace for multiple reasons (taking a checker from a bad spot and putting it in a good one).

7/1* vs. 13/7 now becomes the last decision. With such a strong board the blitz play is awfully tempting. Would be nice to have another checker available for hits/covers, though, which argues for the safer 13/7.

No matter what you do, you don't like opp's entering 3's. And you don't like his entering 1's, either. That means make the play that works best for you when opp rolls neither.
