I know you're half-joking, but tough quizzes tend to have a few anti-QF problems in them.
To make the math simpler, let's assume we have 9 questions with 3 choices each. Random guessing should get you 3/9.
This suggests that the optimal number of anti-QF problems is 3. If there are 3 anti-QF questions, then you'll get all these wrong with your strategy, and you'll get half of the remaining 6, again for an expected score of 3/9.
