Breaking anchor seems anti-thematic when this far behind in the pip count, but the alternative seems awkward and inflexible. I will try 24/18. We are anchored with a three-point board, White's midpoint is stripped, and her 1's are duplicated to hit, so the risk seems tolerable for the gain in flexibility. If things go south—well, gammon losses don't matter. Possibly 24/18 is too loose for money.
