White has 13 in the zone. If Blue runs off the anchor, an avalanche of checkers will rain down on the remaining blot. Along with a four cube. I keep the anchor.

I also want to keep the midpoint to usher my runners around and guard the outfield.

So, it becomes a choice between 17/10, 17/12 8/6, and 17/15 6/3.

The last option is safest, but with the anchor and better board I think I can afford to be a bit bolder than that. The other two plays leave the same number of shots (15 if i counted right) so I'll go for the more flexible one.
