I agree. Well, you didn't necessarily state an opinion, but I agree with where I think you're heading. Henry Ford was a disgusting anti-Semite, but we don't avoid Ford cars because of that. We avoid them because they are shitty cars. Or they used to be anyway, when I was a kid. Apparently they're much better now. Roman Polanski apparently had sex with an underage girl. Does that mean I should deprive myself of some of the greatest films of the last 50 years? Should Paramount have disassociated themselves from him? I could go on for a long boring time with similar cases to this in fields as disparate as sports, politics, entertainment, and religion to name a few. Whether Tom Buckner is guilty of the crimes he's accused of or not should be irrelevant to USBGF's involvement with P-40. To me that's a no-brainer. But if Tom himself was in some way part of the USBGF I still wouldn't kick him out based on this. He didn't commit a crime against the USBGF. If he did something illegal to the government, they are perfectly capable of rendering their punishment on him. It's none of my, or your, business. FWIW, I'm not a fan of the P-40's. They're like anvils and they are too modern for my tastes, so I'm not coming at this from a fanboy angle. Just my two cents, if I may inflate the worth of my opinion here.
