I think 20/17(2) 20/14 plays to blue's strengths here, staying connected, covering the whole outfield and splitting white's army in two.

Blue's board is good as it is, but best used for containing the back men and any blots hit later in the outfield. Without many spares, it is not that well suited to attacking - in fact White is the one with the attacking type 4 point board. I don't think the attacking plays look right

13/10(3) 20/17 is possible and more similar to my play. It brings checkers closer to the attack zone, keeps the anchor, and but gives less coverage of the outfield, and duplicates the indirect with other good numbers - at the cost of less communication, and less coverage of the outfield. I feel the latter is more important here, but, well, basically I don't know, either...
