Three plays were on my radar screen:

13/5. Safe but slower to build the board.

3(2). Makes a new point now but leaves a gap on the 4-point, a somewhat awkward builder on the 7-point, and no spare on the 6-point.

13/8, 7/4. Starts the next point in line; keeps a spare on the 6-point; maintains the 5-->8 prime for now.

Regarding the overvalued (IMO) concern "but we might get a shot and don't want a blot in our board...", my answer is that when I've looked at this with bots it almost never pans out as worth the conservatism.

Do I need to address "spares on the midpoint"? I leave that for someone who feels they are valuable....
