On my quad 2.5 GHz (Q9300 6mb L2 Cache) I get 175000 evals/sec. That's more than half of your HT 3.2 GHz. I'm kind of surprised you aren't getting more evals... somewhere around 450000 is what i would expect IF you can compare linearly.

Unless my 8GB of RAM has any impact on that.
