3-ply is superior particularly in positions where the side trailing in the race nevertheless has the advantage;
I don't know about this one. 3-ply tends to be well suited to holding games or races. It is particularly awful at blitzes, priming games and back games.

This one is well known.

I have to disagree, I think, though it isn't obvious what he is describing.
