If XG sends us the cube then I think we have to drop. (Procedural question: are we supposed to refrain from discussing our future votes like this? But it seems relevant to figuring out what to do now.) If so, the only question is whether our current checker play can make the difference between TG and D/P. If anything prevents XG from being too good then it is surely:
