I hope no one thinks that it is warm in Sante Fe at the end of January, however it is likely to be nicer than NY or Pittsburgh.

Chicago in mid-March isn't always that bad weatherwise.

Atlanta in early May isn't that hot yet normally.

Florida in August is hot and humid, but I didn't find it that uncomfortable at the pool.

For me the real issues are trying to get from one snowie/icey place..Chicago to another in winter.
