Hmmm...so what's your reasoning? I'm guessing that it's something like this: Clearly the blitzing play wins way more cubeless gammons. But for money, if White fans then it's a huge drop. Blue's cube efficiency is low so Blue doesn't get to reap the benefit of a lot of those cubeless gammons. On the other hand if Blue just swings his anchor around then he has a good chance of getting in an efficient cube and winning two points. If this reasoning is correct, then it predicts that blitzing would be massively correct for money if White owned the cube. But with the cube in the center, blitzing is much less attractive.
At a 3-away many-away score, however, "Stick's Rule" applies (I think I have that right?). It's generally quite hard for Blue to lose his market. Perhaps even if White fans he has a take, in which case many of Blue's cubeless gammons will materialize as real gammons.
Something like that? It would still surprise me a little that for money, the centered cube would negate Blue's blitzing equity that much, but I guess I can believe it.
