Better Backgammon Emotionality

In the past, I used to react very poorly to my opponent's jokers. It was not in keeping with good sportsmanship. Two months ago, I decided to go cold turkey and stop my remarks about their good luck, etc. I also recalled that Phil S. had written an article about this very topic and how to treat your opponent with respect. I am now enjoying backgammon more and even think that it has helped my performance in the game by being more level- headed. This week in my chouette, one of the players went bonkers after I rolled 6-6 2x in a row. I now call him MR. TILT. Thanks, Phil Simborg for your wisdom.
