Very tough move and next cube action

No matter which way this game goes I think that you'll be glad to have the four-point anchor, so 23/21 is my 2. The 6 I'm less sure about. I think it's premature to give up the double anchor so it's a choice between 8/2* and 13/7. In general you'd like to have Black rush forward with large numbers so that would seem to favor 13/7, but giving up the midpoint is costly: If those blots get hit then you will re-enter immediately, and you will probably end up with less time than if you just try to hold the midpoint longer. With the race about even I think 8/2* is better. If he dances then you can try to win going forwards and if he hits back then your timing hasn't been hurt much.
The alternative of going all out for the backgame with 8/2* 3/1 seems premature. Without a second anchor yet there's just too much danger of getting blitzed, despite Black's lack of a board.
As for the take, I think it's a clear take. I recently spent some time studying backgames at 3-away/3-away and learned that the backgamer gets a lot more from cube ownership than for money since the recube is gammicidal. This isn't quite a backgame but your danger of losing a gammon is high enough, and your chances of getting a recube in are high enough, that I think you can comfortably take.
