8/4,6/4,5/3! Yes, 8/off is temptating - but blue is very solid favorite to gammon anyway. So, more logical would be to find more reasonable play. What is most important for blue here? To avoid leaving a blot at the bear-off, so he should preper to clear rare points.This play perfectly prepers the clearance. And all big doubles play well. Suppose,both plays should be close, but i really like the resulting pos after my play.
