I swear I had this checked previously, and when I went to the page now it WAS checked. But the proof (I hope) is that when I clicked on your link it did in fact open a new tab.

For others who want to do this, Einstelungen translates to 'adjustments' according to my English-Deutsch-English dictionary. My window says 'options' (from 'Tools' dropdown).
