The beginners and many intermediate players talk about the dice, and how lucky or unlucky they got...

Agree, but you need to throw in "open players" as well. And while you're at it, include "Giants". Anyone want to bet me the under on how many past or present Giants I've seen whine or at least sulk over their luck. Without even counting I'll make it a supersafe 10 and I'm not taking your bet because I have a conscience. (IMO, sulking is just as bad. Of course they could be sulking over their own misplays. Yeh, don't make me laugh.)
