Yep - just point out it is non-gin, that is all that is required in my opinion (others have an other opinion on this). You cannot insist to roll it out.

From previous discussions I remember that some players feel that you can only refuse an illegal action, not a stupid action - the question then in whether what you describe is illegal or just stupid. Those that have this opinion also feel that if someone offers them to take back a stupid action, they should not be allowed to do that. It is not how I think about this, but I believe it is a principled stance that should be respected.

I am not sure whether that would apply here, but the above would be sufficient reason for me just to mention that some position is non-gin, and then accept a non-gin concession if that is what my opponent wants.
