Over 30 years ago, a quite unsavory character (too put it politely) came across that table at me with a string of insults and many expletives when I pointed out that he could still win a position where he needed three doubles (starting with large) if I rolled 21 twice. The gist of it was that he insisted that he wanted to resign the #$@&ing game.

Not a chance since then that I'd ever point out whether my opp can still win.

Ethically I don't feel obliged to do so, but of course if he resigns a G (sometimes missmousing online) when it is only a single loss, I correct him.
