Someone who goes by the name of 'Jelly' shouldn't call anyone an idiot.

I'm not sure what backgammon misses more, someone with Obolensky's vision + promotion capabilities, someone with Edwin Shake's writing abilities, or the age where board games could still capture human intellectual interest.

Here is a (IMO) provocative phrase from the article that takes me back in time:

Having croupiers with Beatle haircuts and British or Continental accents...

Will young backgammon players of today look back on the decade beginning 2010 with such fond memories?
