Best move and why?

Jason Lee posted a related problem here a few weeks ago. In Jason's position, paying now was slightly better. There are some important differences between your position and his.
1. If you pay now, you face a double direct shot rather than a single direct shot.
2. White has two blots in her board (in Jason's position she had none).
3. You're running a little low on time, having four checkers already behind White's anchor.
4. The score means your opponent is itching to turn the cube.
Despite White's two blots, it seems to me that volunteering a double direct shot is too much here. The question is whether to leave no shots with the ugly 8/2 6/1 or to make the ace point, leaving a direct shot (but one that duplicates 2's and that White has to break anchor to hit). I think making the ace is better. The blot on the ace point after 8/2 6/1 is safe for now but will be a liability if a blot-hitting contest materializes.
I don't think I'd cube as White after 7/1 6/1 but I think I would cube after 18/7.
