I don't care if you bot-check or not.
I do, if it's not pointed out then and there. IMO, the most interesting part of backgammon is actual competition (face-to-face or via computer network) where it's one person's brain vs. the other's. No hints (like Quiz Factor), no auto-pipcount, no consultation. One can learn a lot from the OtB thinking of others.
IMO there is nothing wrong with analyzing with a bot and then posting an opinion of why a certain play is better than another, etc. as long as the analyzer in that post admits to having done so.
Relatedly, people who read votes in an OLM before making their own should admit that (in their vote post) as well, even if "that is what I was going to vote for, anyway." Take the word of someone who has felt the arrows from being wrong countless number of times -- it just doesn't hurt that much. I can't say the same for (silently) taking credit, even partial credit, for someone (or something) elses idea.
