One of "Neil Rules"

Here's one of my rules for situations like this when 1) you give your opp the opportunity to make a match decisive recube and 2) there's considerable G's and even BG's possible.

When the above is true and your opp will win the match more often by taking and recubing no matter what, then you probably don't have a proper double.

In this case, if the opp passes he wins 33.1% of the matches but if he takes and recubes no matter what, he wins over 5% more matches! Therefore cubing now is likely to be an enormous blunder since the opp can decide when to recube, thereby further improving his chances.

The RO shows more wins for the taker here than XG analysis shows since the game is played to the end with a somewhat muted gammon and irrelivent BG's so the taker can make checkers plays that result is more wins.
