In a Tremaine book I learned that it is not good to pick up too many checkers.

But later on I more and more saw that picking up extra men is often good.

The risk of picking up an extra man here is that white might get a 1-3 backgame with good timing.

But since white has holes on point 3 and 6 !!! in his board I am not afraid of it.

The extra checker gives more gammons.

So 22x18 and 22/16 for nice connection and outfield coverage.
