looking for explenations for top 5 plays

In Response To: variance of example 3-13. (Martin Sterel)

Although I have hoped I formulated it clear.

I am looking for answers why the top 2 plays seem to conflict .In light of the theme ( connectivity) even though I realise all to well the position has changed. Still the connecting play as in 3-13 is still in top … ( as I do not want to give it away ) 5.
