Response to Stick's comments: (1) "that's some pretty damn impressive OtB analysis" To clarify, my OTB analysis is from my intermediate/advanced point of view. My OTB conclusions probably would differ significantly from your OTB conclusions, but I'm stuck with the limitations of my own analysis. (2) "I think you should move up to the Open division" Coincidentally I'm going to take a shot at the Open division the next time I play in a tournament. Because I've never played in a clocked match, I bought a clock and I'm trying to get used to it in practice matches. Interesting side bar: Having now played several clocked practice matches, I've learned that I move too quickly (using only 3-4 minutes of reserve time in an 11 point match). I'm making an effort to take more time to consider alternatives before moving, but old habits are hard to break.
