New Baffle box at local tournament

Others with more experience will be able to answer these, but I can (with my limited experience) comment on a couple:
2. If both players agreed to use a baffle box, the only legal rolls are one where the person uses the baffle box. This came up when using a cup it is easy to automatically roll on the board, that is not a legal roll and MUST be re rolled.
That happened when I was playing with a baffle box and we used this solution. I don't see how any other solution could even make sense (except maybe to the unobjective person who forgot to use the baffle box and got a good roll...)
4. With the clock, baffle box and cube you have three things that should be on the side of the board and only two sides. We moved the cube to be next to the baffle box.
Assuming the playing area is large enough (not necessarily the case at crowded tournaments) just move the clock back (off the top of the board) and put the cube in front of the clock (where it usually goes -- in the compartment between checker stashing zones). The handle of the set should go under the baffle box, not on the side with the clock.
I suppose if you are using a scoreboard then there are FOUR things vying for limited real estate....
