I've already addressed this about a week ago why playing without cups (allowing people to roll with their hands) is beyond donkey, it's bordering on super donkey.

Yes, I remember. But not everyone read what you said so a citation is/was in order.

But to carry this one step further, you said a cup should be used to minimize the chances of dice switching. Did you say the cup needed to be shaken? If not, DOES it need to be shaken? If so, why? And I remind everyone that UBK's contention that "it couldn't hurt so why not...?" regarding uniformly distributing the second tier of dice in a rollout was shot down uncerimoniously here without a smidgen of evidence, so let's be consistent and refrain from using that argument.
