New Baffle box at local tournament

Chuck Bower: I believe the goal of rolling dice (with or without any other devices like cups and/or baffle boxes) is to extract a pair of uniformly distributed random numbers on the integer interval [1,6] (each).
Jason: Come on, Chuck, if you're going lay the technical mumbo jumbo on us, you've at least got to get it RIGHT.
OK, I've reread it twice and don't see where I erred. Obviously you do. How about correcting what I said. Actually I care less about that than I care about the issue that the second die changing the number on the first die is a problem.
Sometimes I make errors in my thinking. I'd much rather put that thinking in the public and be corrected than to sit in false contentment that I'm right. I addressed the opening roll problem Ken brought up because I felt there was a non-negligible chance that there is a flaw in my logic. As you may know, Phil, Jeb, and I are working on a new rules package. It's likely we'll address the issue Ken has exposed. The time to understand it is now, before those rules are finalized.
